3月3日はひな祭り。
家族や親戚全員が女の子の成長を祝う・祈る日ですが、ひな人形は皇室を象徴する人形でもあります。
日本の習慣や風習の中にはこのようなものが多いですね。
The Japanese Doll Festival, or Girls' Day, is held on March 3. Platforms covered with a red carpet are used to display a set of ornamental dolls representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants, and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period.
