The eclipse of the moon
元旦に月食を見るなんていう機会は滅多にありませんね。
初詣から帰って寒い中をカメラを持って出かけました。
科学が発達して理由はわかっているけれど、古代の人が天体の見せる不思議な現象を見てどんなことを思ったのか。
そんなことを想像してみるのも楽しいものです。
Opportunitly we could seen the eclipse of the moon on New Year's day.
Although the development of science clarified the reason of the strange phonomenon, it's fun to imagine how ancient people thought of this phonomenon.

Nature is wealth
68 percent of Japan's land is forest. The Japanese have been respecting forest since ancient times and our eyes and hearts are soften by forest. I always cherish this.
日本の国土の68%は森林。
古代から日本人が大切にしてきた森は目と心に安らぎを与えてくれる。
こんな日本をいつまでも大切にしたい。

Lotus Flower
蓮の花。
仏教では死後に極楽浄土に往生し、同じ蓮花の上に生まれ変わって身を託すという思想があり、「一蓮托生」という言葉の語源になっている。
そんなことを思いながら、群生する蓮の花を眺めるのも面白い。
